Eric started his career doing plaintiff’s employee-side litigation before moving to management side, where he has more than 18 years of experience in employment law, labor law, business law, and contracts.  In his practice (founded in 2001), he represents and counsels small and mid-sized businesses, defending them against employment discrimination lawsuits, labor violations claims, and Department of Labor audits and investigations. Eric also drafts employment contracts and employee handbooks, and handles business formation, restructuring, partnership agreements, and related business law transactions. In addition to representing private clients, Eric has been providing of counsel services for numerous law firms since April 2001—the majority of which consists of work for employee-side firms. In that capacity, he has drafted and opposed appeals and motions, conducted extensive legal research, finalized discovery (demands and responses), assisted with trial preparation, and drafted position statements for mediations and administrative agencies in matters involving civil rights litigation, employment law, and complex commercial litigation.

In his free time, Eric enjoys long bike rides on nature trails with his wife, Sarah, as well as swimming, working out, playing guitar, listening to live jazz music, and volunteering.
