Donna has been a freelance litigator since opening her solo practice in 2011. She is one of only two attorneys certified by The Florida Bar as both Appellate Expert and Business Litigation Specialist. Attorneys certified by The Florida Bar are: “Evaluated for Professionalism, Tested for Expertise.” Previously, Donna was with a national firm, where she litigated hundreds of cases, in various jurisdictions, in both trial court proceedings and on appeal in state and federal courts. Before she went into private practice, Donna clerked at Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal for the Honorable Barbara J. Pariente.

Before becoming a lawyer, Donna was a CPA with an MBA in finance. After working for Price Waterhouse in New York City, she became a Manager of Accounting and Financial Reporting for Penn Central Corporation. She moved to Florida in 1987, where she worked for Intercontinental Bank and American Express before entering law school.

Donna has published extensively and appeared as a speaker for The Florida Bar and the Palm Beach County Bar Association in their continuing legal education courses. She also maintains a blog about business-related cases.

Donna graduated first in her class from law school, where she earned the Corpus Juris Secundum (highest grade) awards in Evidence; Legal Research & Writing; Securities Regulation; Corporate Finance; Corporate Tax; Corporate Workshop; Professional Responsibility; Criminal Procedure; and Criminal Law.
